                                          BREAKING FREE FROM YOUR SHELL

From our very beginning, we have had to go through a confining in order to break free.

After nine months of gestation,  the womb that carried us so lovingly decides that it is time for a release and the infant within is ready to take on a new experience.  If that process of coming forth did not occur the womb would become our tomb.

The same is true of our life in physical form.  We break through new barriers all the time.  Going from childhood into adulthood.  Going from single life into sharing your life with another.  All of our experiences involve a constriction and then a release.

When we are faced with a problem, we feel as if the world is closing in, that there is nowhere to go but to marinate in our own dilemma.  Trying to find a way to “think” ourselves out of the constricted feeling into that feeling of freedom (freedom from the problem).

The world in which we live in has a buffet of emotions to choose from, emotions that we attach to what our circumstances are.  When things do not seem to be going our way, there is a feeling to correspond to that experience.  If the feeling we chose feels uncomfortable, we believe that if the circumstances change then we will be at peace once again.  In affect saying that the circumstances are the cause of how you feel, therefore making your circumstances your god.  And when we fall in Love we believe it is because of the other person.  Giving all feelings over to outside events.

This is the thought pattern of our world.  Change the outside world of situations so our inner world of feeling will be good.  But is struggle the way to peace?  To war with ourselves over the actions of another?  Isn’t that the way that nations try to implement peace, by fighting wars and causing bloodshed?

Saying you want peace but always being ready for war is a contradiction.  If you want to see peace in the world, then we have to find a way to be at peace with ourselves.

We have been conditioned to believe that fighting what we don’t like is the way to conquer and get what we want.  No matter where we look we see the same pattern.  Fight, and be ready to fight again and again.

When we are encapsulated into mass thought, there comes a time when the soul is ready to finally break out of the shell we have been sleeping in.  To break the shell of the consciousness that the world has wrapped around us, squeezing us so tightly, that if we don’t release ourselves, the pain will crush our hearts.

How does a person truly know who they are unless we are willing to be authentic in finding out who we are, instead of who we have been told we are?

Besides breaking out of mass consciousness, we also carry titles of identity.  We identify who we are by what we do.  By our children.  The area in which we live.  Is it a house or an apartment.  We are identified by our religious persuasion, the color of your hair, by height and weight.

These are descriptions of attributes and preferences, but they do not express WHO you are.  Breaking out of the shell of your dream/nightmare requires an honest assessment of your feelings.  To be willing to Love the weak parts in order to give healing and strength, and to do the same for all others.  We are in a sense giving birth to our true identity.  The gestation time is quickly coming to an end.  We are breaking free from yet another shell.

If it is your desire to see peace in the world, then feel peace within yourself.  BE PEACE.  Make your inner world a paradise.  Surround yourself with the beauty that is all around you.  The things that you have taken for granted, because, after all, it’s only a tree, it is only a sunset, it is only a mountainous range.  See these everyday things as the miracles that they truly are.  Become one with the beauty and the power of Life.  Break into the beauty of Nature, break into the beauty of your OWN nature.  Break into encompassing the whole Earth and then all of eternity.

Breaking yourself free from the negativity is a conscious endeavor.  It is being aware of your thoughts and keeping those thoughts under control.  Not trying to control others, or bemoaning the actions of governmental forces.  Only YOU can bring the goodness of Life from within you, just as a tree breaks forth from the hardened ground.

The world at large is not interested in bringing peace, it is more interested in preparing for war, in subjecting others under the iron rod of oppression.  You will not find anything in the material world of injustice, but you will find EVERYTHING within your heart of boundless Love.

Because of life experiences, we try to protect our heart from being broken.  But, it is the heart that brings us to our freedom from oppressive thoughts.  Most of us walk around with a wall around our heart (emotions/feelings) because it gives us a sense of strength, but it is a false strength.

That which breaks the bonds of the negative forces is Love.  “Love conquers all”, l Cor. 16:14 “Let all that you do be done in Love.”  It doesn’t say “let all that you do be done with force.”  Love is the strongest energy in the Universe, most everyone will agree and yet, while speaking those words, people still want to be aggressive in their dealings.  The way we deal with our significant other, or the way we treat other nations.  It is all one.  Begin with Loving yourself and then extend that to your loved ones and then allow it to flow to all of creation.

Break free from fear based thinking, release your mind from “box thinking” and in so doing your inner life will grow into the happiness that has always been your desire, and the desire of the Universe.
